Sight Seekers is a tour agency that offers different walking tours through Amsterdam. Some explore the streets and history of the city, for example the years of World War II, when Anne Frank and her family had to go into hiding. Other tours take guests to museums, where they can explore the life and work of artists like Van Gogh and Rembrandt. The guides are specialized and knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics, as well as experienced in local Amsterdam culture.
Next to my work in visual media and on top of being a student, I have also started giving tours in the city. I was therefore honored to be asked to do a photoshoot for my friends and colleagues at Sight Seekers. We all strive to create an experience for those visiting Amsterdam in which they can not only learn more about their holiday destination, but also get a local’s perspective on what it’s like to live in such a cosmopolitan city.
